Save the date! The Des Moines Parent Summer Camp Fair is celebrating its 6th year on Saturday, February 13, 2027, and we’re heading to a NEW location at Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston, Iowa! We are so excited to bring this family-favorite event back for another year of connecting Central Iowa families with incredible summer camps, programs, and activities. Join us for a fun-filled day of exploring summer opportunities, meeting local organizations, and getting a head start on planning an unforgettable summer for your kids!
Every spring, parents start the big search: What will the kids do all summer long? From summer camps to special events and activities, the Des Moines Parent Summer Camp Fair is your one-day opportunity to explore it all in one place! Families can meet local organizations, learn about options, register on the spot, and have a ton of fun along the way.
We’re so excited to be at Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston! With its cozy, woodsy atmosphere and cabin-inspired charm, it’s the PERFECT setting to bring our summer camp theme to life! This year, we’re taking families TO CAMP with fun surprises, interactive activities, and a few special experiences along the way. Not only will you have the opportunity to explore incredible summer camps and programs throughout Central Iowa, but you’ll also get a little taste of the camp experience before summer even begins.
Best of all, the entire event is FREE!

Vendor spots are NOW OPEN! We have a very limited number of vendor slots available, and all these slots filled up last year. \Make sure you are the first to claim your booth for the 2027 Des Moines Parent Summer Camp Fair.
